Sunday, December 06, 2009 The end is drawing near 2009, ANOTHER YEAR HAS COME N GONE~ Had a wonderful first half of the year since I got back from Melbourne just in time to welcome a new year 2009 with my beloved family and friends. Time flew. had some experience working, and loads of wonderful moments between January and July. come to think of it, it was a very very short period considering everything that has happened. too short. Before leaving for Australia earlier last year, I'd imagine doing my post grad there after my Bach. degree. Never would have imagined then that I'd be spending the 2nd half of 2009 here in Sweden doing my post grad. Life has its many surprises. I have had a wonderful year thus far, thanks to the loved ones I"m blessed with. So after 3 months of masters courses, I've ended my class on Governance of science(sociology) and shall commence with the seasonal holidays from here on...... lots of Christmas shopping Christmas decorations have been up all over since last month.... I wish I could share this beautiful season with loved ones at home. As they say it here in Sweden: " God Jul och Gott Nytt år" (merry christmas and happy new year) Let us hope for a wonderful year that 2010 may bring~~ xoxo 1 Comments Rachel was here @ 11:42 PM Friday, November 27, 2009 z' EEeeViiiiLLL washing machines Behold my lovely possessions: introducing Sloggi and LaSenza- 0 Comments Rachel was here @ 8:42 AM Sweden in the gloooms ALOT has happened since I last updated my blog. I wont go into the details, just some updates from here and there.... About my studies... I'm considering a 2nd masters Degree at the moment. and Maybe a PhD if all goes well. Is it a bad idea?? hmm...... Have been keeping myself occupied with studies, the daily chores (cooking n washing) and some travelling here n there, meeting new people. The weather's been really gloomy, windy, and wet....not to mention the cold.... I am really looking forward to spring AND summer (when I'm back in KL for a holiday, yay!!) 0 Comments Rachel was here @ 8:27 AM Thursday, September 24, 2009 Ultimate animal cruelty. If you love dogs, you should most probably try your best to do something to help these poor dogs. I"m no animal rights activists or anything, but I'm civilised enough to know this brutality is beyond comprehension and tolerance. I understand man eat meat, but if u must 'eat' 1 Comments Rachel was here @ 9:06 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2009 Lund and its wonders - NOT the truth is, I've been really bored over the past several weeks. lonely, you can say. Kaj's got classes every single day, long hours. all I"ve got is just wedenesdays and fridays, and only a total of 3 hours of lecture a week. I'm pretty much free all the time. I need a part time job, but language might be a problem. or participate in some organization and be more active. I"ve been stranded home for over 2 weeks due to the horrendous flu bug i've caught. I"m much better now, thanks to the love and care I get. the weather's pretty unpredicatble, hot n sunny one moment and wet and windy the next....sighs.. 2nd October is when my paper assignmnet is due, not to mention the exams for my current course. STRESS.... shopping has been a torture. everything is too freaking expensive. it's such a pain to buy a piece of fabric, or meat. a plate of fried rice here could cost as much as a fancy fabric in Zara, Malaysia. nuf said. the language course will start pretty soon. hopefully I"ll grasp the best out of it. havent got the inspiration to write much here on my blog. I"ll let the pictures do their talking. 0 Comments Rachel was here @ 5:49 PM Thursday, August 13, 2009 Finally an update Hello world, I'm back in Action!!!!! havent been updating much since there's been tooo much goin on, dont really know where to start with... uplaoded pictures on Facebook to tell the story.
